General comments
Alle anthraxvormen, dus ook de cutane vorm, ontstaan als gevolg van een bioterroristische aanval moeten behandeld worden conform de behandelingswijze en -duur als vermeld in het LCI protocol
Excisie van de eschar is gecontraïndiceerd.
Meldingsplichtige ziekte groep C.
Voor de ernstige cutane infecties en bij respiratoire en intestinale vormen moet contact worden opgenomen met de dienstdoende arts-microbioloog. Behandeling in overleg.
