General comments

Therapie bij aangetoonde verwekker: zie SWAB richtlijn.
Overleg met arts-microbioloog/ internist-infectioloog over de duur van de behandeling en indien een allergie optreedt. Zie hiervoor de link naar de bron: op blz 20-26: tabellen 1 t/m 7.
Bij gebruik van gentamicine of vancomycine serumspiegels controleren: bij de aanvraag melden dat het een endocarditis behandeling betreft i.v.m. andere streefspiegels.
